Student Assistant: Sara Kern

Sara is a first-year history and secondary education major from Lebanon, Pa. She is interested in early civilizations in the Americas and Europe because, she notes, they're "a bit of a mystery." Sara will work with the Medical Humanities Initiative through 2013, compiling a bibliography about the medical humanities, helping coordinate public events, organizing the 2010 meeting of the Pennsylvania Historical Association and providing research assistance to Associate Professors Weaver and Slavishak. When she's not working on that (or studying!), Sara enjoys reading, putting puzzles together and watching movies with friends.
