Estefania Uzair
Visiting Language Fellow

Office Hours: 10 a.m. – 11 a.m., MWF

Uzair is a Fulbright Modern Language Fellow from Mendoza, Argentina. She studied at Universidad Nacional de Cuyo (National University of Cuyo) in the city of Mendoza and she graduated as a teacher of English language and culture. Her academic formation was focused on English as a second language as well as on British and American cultural studies. She was interested in literature and literary text analysis and assisted in the Department of Phonetics and Phonology.

Uzair worked for four years at different private English language centers in the city of Mendoza. She has experience as an educator at different age and proficiency levels: children, teenagers and adults. At Susquehanna, she is teaching for the first time at the university level as a primary teacher.

She is eager to share and transmit her language and culture during her stay at Susquehanna. This is also Uzair’s first time in the United States and she hopes to travel around the country and learn more about its rich culture and people.

In her spare time, she likes walking, ride biking, cooking and hanging out with friends.
