Pi Delta Phi: National French Honor Society
The purpose of this society is:
- To recognize outstanding scholarship in the French language and its literatures,
- To increase the knowledge and appreciation of Americans for the cultural contributions of the French-speaking world, and
- To stimulate and to encourage French and francophone cultural activities.
To become eligible for membership, a student must have completed one advanced French course, maintained a B average in French, and rank in the upper 35 percent of the class. Susquehanna's chapter, Zeta Alpha, was chartered in 1969.
