FUSE

FUSE-Susquehanna is a chapter of the Forum for Undergraduate Student Editors, a national network for student editors and writers founded by the Writers Institute of Susquehanna University. The overall goal of FUSE is to foster visionary literary magazine work. Holding a national caucus at AWP every year since 2002, FUSE elected its first national board of directors in 2011. Every year, FUSE holds a conference the first weekend in November.
FUSE-Susquehanna runs the national website, maintains a directory of links to undergraduate journals, produces interviews with editors from the journal industry, and produces reviews of undergraduate literary journals, a part of the website that features magazines from schools around the country. FUSE also sponsors a public forum where editors and staff members of undergraduate journals can talk about the joys and challenges of working with journals.
