Susquehanna University’s Department of Psychology offers an unusual opportunity for undergraduates to study and learn in an atmosphere that encourages the independent exploration of topics relating to both human and animal behavior. The academic program is designed to encourage the sampling of a wide variety of topics within the discipline while developing related interests in other areas through the university's Central Curriculum.
The department’s faculty is committed to teaching, to original research, and to the values of a liberal arts tradition. Susquehanna offers courses in a variety of specialized areas. These include clinical, cognitive, educational, experimental and social psychology. Additional areas are biopsychology, child development, counseling and psychopharmacology.
