How Susquehanna prepared me for the future
I will be a teacher assistant at Académie de Versailles in Versailles, France. I made the connection with the Teaching Assistantship in France (TAPIF) through Dr. Lynn Palermo. She is an alumna of the program and has encouraged me and many other students to apply for this opportunity.
My study away experience
I studied abroad in Dakar, Senegal, in spring 2011. My experiences there molded my desire to want to travel and develop my language skills further. I currently speak four languages and want to challenge myself to learn more, so France is only the beginning I believe.
What I’ll miss most about Susquehanna
I will miss my friends and professors that have contributed to my many experiences at SU.
What being a Susquehanna alumna means to me
It will mean trying to maintain the relationships that I have built over the last four years. In addition, I would like to continue to provide other individuals with the same guidance and encouragement that was given to me by many faculty and staff members over my time here at SU.
