How Susquehanna prepared me for the future
I’m going to Cornell University to get my Ph.D. in biochemistry, with a concentration in molecular and cellular biology.
The research opportunities and amazing professors at Susquehanna allowed me to begin research my sophomore year after being approached by my chemistry professor. Since then I have been able to work in a biology lab at Susquehanna for the past two years.
All of these research experiences at Susquehanna allowed me to learn how science is done and prepared me for my research experiences beyond Susquehanna during previous summers and also for graduate school.
What I’ll miss most about Susquehanna
The professors. Each and every professor in the programs and biology and chemistry knew my name and knew me on a personal level. They were always there to help and encourage me along the way.
What being a Susquehanna alumna means to me
It means I will be in a position to help aspiring scientists at Susquehanna in the future.
