Accounting: The Sigmund Weis School of Business of Susquehanna University seeks candidates at the assistant, associate or full professor rank for a full-time, tenure-track position to start in fall of 2008. Responsibilities include teaching introductory and upper level undergraduate Accounting courses, academic advising, scholarly research, and university service. Candidates should possess an earned doctorate in Accounting with teaching and research interests in financial accounting and reporting; ABDs with a strong potential for research and publication are also encouraged to apply. Professional certification is desirable. A history of research, publication, and teaching excellence in Accounting would be essential for consideration of appointment at a rank above Assistant Professor. The Sigmund Weis School of Business is one of a small number of programs accredited by AACSB-International that focus exclusively on undergraduate education; 22 faculty members serve 500 majors. Susquehanna is a selective, residential, liberal arts institution of approximately 1900 students.
