Academic Counseling
The Act 101 Program provides a counselor who maintains contact with Act 101 students throughout the year. The Academic Counselor is prepared to work closely with students on academic or personal concerns. Referrals are made as necessary to other campus services.

Study Skills
The Act 101 Program provides workshops in study skills and stress management, offering ways to help students manage their time and make a successful transition from high school to college.

Professional Basic Skills Instruction
The Act 101 Program provides professional reading, writing, and mathematics instructors who are prepared to work on a one-to-one basis to help students develop those skills most necessary for success in the courses they are taking.

Tutoring
Paraprofessional students are available to work with Act 101 students as a way of supplementing the assistance provided by the professional instructors. Individualized tutoring is also available to students enrolled in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Latin, or Greek. Susquehanna University Tutorial Services offers both professional and peer assistance in basic skills areas.
