I was drawn to Susquehanna University from my previous job in admissions at another school because Susquehanna offered all the elements of a great undergraduate experience. It made the prospect of introducing students to this school an exciting and appealing possibility.

Some of the most satisfying moments in my career here have been watching students I recruited alight upon their majors, land great internships, and form lasting friendships with classmates and professors alike. Of course, some of the saddest moments have been saying goodbye to those students who have become a part of my Susquehanna family, but I can take comfort in knowing they're well-equipped to take on fulfilling careers and productive lives, and that I've played some small part in making that happen.

In addition to the general responsibilities of my position, I currently coordinate our Write Option program and supervise the Tour Guide Program.

I live in Selinsgrove with my partner, Kristen, and we take advantage of the many recreational opportunities that abound in Central Pa., and in the Poconos – kayaking, hiking and downhill skiing. I also spend a good deal of my spare time writing and revising my creative nonfiction as I'm about to graduate from a Master of Fine Arts program in creative writing.

I completed my master's in English at Bucknell University.
