Arts Action Day

Workshops with faculty in the creative and fine arts.  Topics include music (Includes a master class in instrumental and/or voice.  Student should bring their instrument and a short piece to perform), graphic design, lighting design, computer visualization and acting. Learn More »

Workshops on college writing, creative nonfiction, critical nonfiction, fiction, film and writing, journalism, poetry, and sports journalism. Writing participants work with several published writers, one of whom is the featured speaker. Lunch and campus tours are also provided. Learn More »

Experiments conducted with faculty and students in biochemistry, earth and environmental sciences – global warming, earth and environmental sciences – when rocks and water don't mix, health care – anatomy, mathematics/computer science, physical chemistry, and organic chemistry.
