Why Susquehanna?

Campus Life: Activities - Athletics at SU

Susquehanna offers 23 varsity sports programs, 12 women's and 11 men's, all of which compete in Division III of the NCAA, as part of the Commonwealth Conference and its umbrella organization, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC). Susquehanna has won recent conference championships in men's golf, men's track and field, and women's lacrosse. Four Susquehanna student-athletes earned All-America honors during the 2003-04 academic year. Last year more than 100 Susquehanna athletes were recognized as members of the MAC All-Academic Team, and in two of the past four years the national small college scholar athlete of the year in football has been a Susquehanna student.

Intramural and club sports are also a popular part of the athletic scene at Susquehanna. Rowing is a strong club sport with a full-time coach, and crews regularly compete on the national level against many Division I schools.
