Whether or not you are a communications major, SU offers a number of groups that will enhance your writing, leadership, networking and articulation skills. Membership is open to all students.

The Crusader (newspaper) Opens in a new window

For all students interested in the journalistic world of a campus-oriented newspaper, The Crusader is a great place to get experience. Designed, edited and published by students weekly, SU's Crusader reports news of interest to the campus community. As a member of the staff, you can contribute as a reporter, artist, or photographer, and you can even help with advertising, circulation, or copy editing.

An annual yearbook published at Susquehanna to provide a capsule view of the past year.

Sterling Communications (student public relations firm) Opens in a new window

This organization is the University's own student-run public relations firm. Students of all majors participate in Sterling Communications. Some of their duties include, writing business proposals, creating brochures and organizing public relations campaigns. Through their hands-on involvement, members gain valuable work experience for future careers.

WQSU-FM Radio Station Opens in a new window

Susquehanna's FM radio station, located in the lower level of Degenstein Campus Center is a licensed, non-commercial, public radio station.

WQSU-FM broadcasts news, sports, jazz and rock music. The station is affiliated with the Associated Press Radio Network, the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System and the Broadcast Educators Association.
