The Faculty

You will work with both senior professors and a group of new, younger faculty. They are all talented scholars who are committed to teaching the up-to-date skills and knowledge you will need to join their field.

Ninety-two percent hold a doctorate and they share an impressive record of publishing, presenting at national conferences, performing professionally or exhibiting their work. You will be among their special interests and share in the personal enthusiasm they bring to the classroom, the stage and the research lab.

Just how accessible are Susquehanna faculty?

A recent gathering of about a dozen first-year students on campus just eight weeks produced the following:

• Two had already been to a faculty member's home for dinner.
• Four said faculty they met previously went out of their way to look them up or say hello.
• One said the president always makes a point of saying hello.
• Another received extra help to prepare for his first test.
