Susquehanna designs majors to offer you a competitive advantage whether you’re headed to graduate or professional school or to the job market. Faculty advisors help you customize your major with courses, emphases, minors and co-curricular experiences. Here are some examples:

  • Business majors choose from five different specializations.
  • Music majors choose from two different degree programs and many different tracks from performance to technology.
  • Biology and chemistry offer special options geared to intensive research required for graduate school.
  • You can also opt for a dual major, such as English/theatre or environmental science/political science, or even design your own major.

The Core Curriculum

provides a solid liberal arts foundation to complement your major. You can choose from more than 80 courses to design your personal Core Courses in computer literacy, mathematics/logic, foreign language, critical thinking, and writing sharpen your intellectual skills. Selections in history, fine arts, literature, contemporary society science and technology, values, and the future enhance your perspectives.
