Preprofessional Programs
Susquehanna University now offers partial reimbursement for the cost of preparatory courses for the Law School Admission Test (LSAT), the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) or the Dental Admissions Test (DAT). Students may choose the course that best fits their schedules and learning styles, including those offered on-line. - The percentage of Susquehanna graduates who are successfully admitted to medical, dental and veterinary schools exceeds the national average. SU graduates have attended; Harvard Dental School, Hershey Medical School, the Medical College of Virginia and the universities of Pennsylvania and Pittsburgh.
- A Health Professions Advising Committee includes local health professionals and faculty members from all the science departments. Committee members will guide your course selection, help you locate valuable internship opportunities, assist in the application process, stage your practice interview and write your letters of recommendation.
- Susquehanna students have an outstanding acceptance and achievement record at a wide variety of law schools across the country. In the last five years SU graduates have enrolled at; Cornell, Dickinson, Duquesne, Georgetown, Syracuse, Villanova, Widener and the University of Richmond.
