From your new APAN Student Assistant
Hello APAN Members! My name is Christina Fegley, you new APAN student contact. I just kicked off my junior year here with an academic focus in Human Resource Management. Originally from Milton, Pennsylvania; which is about 30 minutes north of Selinsgrove. I grew up aware of SU and had the advantage of witnessing SU’s growth over the last 10 years. With that said, my college search was less intense because I knew that SU was for me. I found SU to be a beautiful campus and everyone was incredibly personable, not to mention the fantastic business program. I have two older sisters, one of which just graduated from SU last May. Her presence has helped me to easily transition and become involved immediately. In addition to the wonderful opportunity to work with APAN, I am a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority, holding the V.P of Operations on the council. I also was the chair person of our annual Shamrock 3-on-3 basketball tournament to raise funds for Prevent Child Abuse America.
When I am not in Apfelbaum Hall, my time is spent working, doing homework, and hanging out with my six suitemates in Shobert Hall. I have no roommate other than my service dog Ross. When visiting campus, you can see me zooming around in my power chair with Ross right next to my side. Since the age of two, I have known that I have a form of Muscular Dystrophy, although it is still unknown exactly what form of it I have. I have Ross to help me retrieve items off the floor for me when they too hard for me to reach. He can also turn lights off and on. He is also a very good foot warmer when I am working on homework.
Lastly, I am excited to be interacting with such a dynamic group of Alumni. I hope to bring an exciting aspect to my job as APAN assistant and have the opportunity to meet or know you all. You will hear from me from time to time. I look forward to working with you.
I look forward to hearing from all APAN Members and am always available. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, that is what I am here for! APAN@susqu.edu
