Celebrating Global Opportunities
With the development of the university’s award-winning Global Opportunities (GO) Program, Susquehanna’s newest graduation tradition has emerged. Graduates can purchase sashes representing countries in which they studied, adding colorful adornments to the traditional cap-and-gown attire.
On May 12, 484 studentsgraduated, with most wearing sashes reflecting the countries in which they studied. The Class of 2013 is the first to have entered Susquehanna under the cross-cultural requirement implemented in 2009.
