Susquehanna vs. Messiah/Moravian (DH) - Dropping a 3-4 decision to Messiah on Wednesday, outfielder Kyle Wertman (Havertown, Pa./Haverford) went 3-for4 finishing with two RBIs and three put outs. On Saturday, opening Landmark play, Wertman went 2-for-4 in both of Susquehanna’s (6-6, 2-0 LC) wins over Moravian (8-5, 0-2 LC). He scored three runs on the day, while adding an RBI and five put outs.
Susquehanna at Gettysburg (Gettysburg, Pa.) - In her game winning performance on Saturday, Danielle McCann (Berkeley Heights, N.J./Governor Livingston) hit an RBI double to bring home Susquehanna's pair of runs in the top of the extra inning breaking the 0-0 7-inning deadlock. McCann had two of Susquehanna's six hits on the day, including the game winning double. Susquehanna (5-5) won game one 2-1 over the Bullets (5-3) in the eighth.
