Pat Serfass - Golf
Susquehanna at McDaniel Spring Golf Tournament (Abbottstown, Pa.)- Senior co-captain of the men's golf team, Pat Serfass (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus) won the individual title in the McDaniel Spring Golf tournament over the weekend. He finished first among 75 players and 15 colleges. His scores were 77 on Saturday and an even par, 72 on Sunday; given the cold and windy weather conditions these were highly impressive scores. The highlight of his play was an eagle on the par 4 ninth hole on Sunday. He put his shot from 150 yards into the cup for a 2.
Megan McCurley - Softball
Susquehanna vs. Catholic (DH), Lycoming (DH) and Ursinus (DH) - In three double headers throughout the week, Megan McCurley (Emmaus, Pa./Emmaus) was hitting .476 with 10 hits and 11 RBI, including one grand-slam home run. She led the team to a 3-3 week with her outstanding performances. On the season thus far, McCurley is hitting .471 with 17 RBI, two home runs and five doubles. She has a .686 slugging percentage and she leads the team in batting average, slugging percentage and games played.
