Paul Short Invitational (Bethlehem, PA) -- In a preview of the NCAA Mideast Regional course, the Crusaders finished 21st out of 39 schools. The men finished 16th out of Division III schools and, most importantly, seventh among 24 regional schools.
Leading the way for the Crusaders, as he has for every meet thus far this season, sophomore Paul Thistle (Blue Bell, Pa./Wissahickon) recorded a new personal best of 26:31. Thistle placed 18th out of the 270 competitors running the 8K course.
Susquehanna v. Goucher (Baltimore, MD) -- Sophomore midfielder Michelle Flick (Montoursville, Pa./Montoursville) scored all three goals to attain the team's first hat trick of the season as Susquehanna got a 3-0 Landmark Conference victory over host Goucher College.
The Crusaders outshot the Gophers 42-3, but only Flick's three found their way into the goal. Sophomore midfielder Brooke Jones, junior defender Kelly Davitt and freshman midfielder Erinn Jenkins got in on the action with an assist apiece.
