Evert Dining Room Digital Display Guidelines

Microsoft PowerPoint Presentations

  • Slides for the plasma screens should be created in 16/9 format.
  • You will find a PowerPoint template, named signage.pot at http://www.susqu.edu/campus_activities/digitaldisplay/templates/signage.pot. Download and save this file to your computer to use as a template. You will also find a completed PPT named eddds.ppt at http://www.susqu.edu/campus_activities/digitaldisplay/samples/eddds.ppt. You may download this file to look at the transitions and animations used.
  • If you use multiple slides, you must go to slide transition and set the slides to show automatically, not on mouse click. You must also set the time that each slide will remain on the screen. Finally, make sure that you apply your transition timing to all slides. PowerPoint Screen Shot
  • You may want to add "custom animation" to make your slide transitions more attention getting.
  • A slide for a formal presentation is different from a slide for a no-sound ad. The signage slide can be more colorful and animated.
  • When you submit the slide to Campus Activities, please note the number of slides and the time each will remain on screen.
  • Use the online form at http://www.susqu.edu/campus_activities/digitaldisplay/orderform.cfm to submit your completed presentation.

If you have any questions regarding the use of the digital display please contact Jody Hare, hare@susqu.edu.
