Student Organizations
A variety of activities and organizations are available for
students at Susquehanna. There are music and art activities ranging from
the swing dance club to orchestra and chorale ensembles. Service
organizations include Habitat for Humanity, National Big Brothers/Big
Sisters, and Study Buddy. Leadership opportunities are provided
thought the Student Government Association and Leaders Inc. Students
also have the opportunity to join academic clubs that relate to
heir majors, such as Psychology Club or Chemistry Club. Several
student programming organizations, like the Students Activities
Committee and Charlie's coffeehouse, are student-run and work
to plan activities for students. There are also several organizations
that focus on religion and diversity as well as newspaper, radio,
and yearbook opportunities.
There are over 85 campus clubs and organizations at
Susquehanna, so there are plenty of opportunities for all students
to get involved in an activity that will be of value to them.
In addition, there are 24 honor societies and professional organizations,
as well as 14 intramural sports teams and 23 varsity sports teams. There
are also four social sororities and four social fraternities.
