Barbados and St. Lucia
Are you interested in learning about a foreign culture? Would you like to spend two weeks exploring several islands in the Caribbean? Then Focus Caribbean may be the program for you! For many students, international study is the hallmark of their college education. Focus Caribbean will allow students to gain some experience abroad, without sacrificing a significant amount of time away from Susquehanna University.
Focus Programs provide an excellent opportunity for students to experience an in-depth and first hand culture of another society. Focus Caribbean (Barbados/St. Lucia) serves as an excellent destination for investigating a number of cultural, political and scientific issues. Students will experience first-hand the influences of Europe and Africa that have impacted Caribbean Society. Students will also have the chance to explore interesting environmental and geological sites in Barbados/St. Lucia.
