ANTH:220 Magic, Witchcraft and Religion.
Examines anthropological concepts of magic, witchcraft and religion in a cross-cultural context. Drawing on ethnography, anthropological theory, history and film, the class explores the nature of magic, witchcraft and religion; the relations among them; and the ways in which they interact with other social formations, for example, gender, politics and economics.
