2008 Junior Writers' Workshop
Is your imagination always coming up with new and unusual ideas to write about? Then this is the workshop for you!
Students will use the creative writing process in conjunction with age-appropriate computer illustration and word-processing programs to create an original story. Attention will be given to spelling, grammar, punctuation and sentence structure through individual and small-group instruction provided by trained professionals as well as Susquehanna University creative writing majors. The workshop’s focus will be on nurturing students to grow in the writing process and moving their talents and abilities forward in a positive direction, not on producing a polished, published final piece of work.
*Experience with computers and familiarity with word processing is recommended.
