Family and Friends, Welcome to the Susquehanna University Center for Career Services.

Education extends beyond the classroom and the Center for Career Services can help. It is our role to help students take that which they learn in the classroom, make meaning of it relative to their career development, make decisions regarding their chosen career course, outline the path, and then provide resources and services.

Many career fields have different employment methods so some of the standard services may not work for all students. Beyond what is listed, we can work with students in all majors who may be interested multiple career fields.

You are very important in the career development process! You play a vital role in encouraging your student to take advantage of the many services and resources we have to offer. Below is a list of services that we provide to students in addition to the many resources available online.

For more information on Susquehanna University institutional philosophy on the expectations of students and the role of parents, please review the Just for Parents page.

What can you do to help?

  1. Encourage your student to register for our online InterView system.
  2. Ask your student about career plans and if they have visited the Center for Career Services.
  3. Remember that most students change their major 2-3 times, and after graduation they may change jobs 12-13 times in a lifetime.
  4. If you know of possible internships or full-time opportunities within your organization, contact the Center for Career Services to recruit SU students.
