Of all the things God has taught our Selinsgrove Young Life leaders this past year, the biggest would certainly have to be that God provides. Young Life is a high school ministry where the focus is on building relationships with kids in order to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Young Life first began training new leaders in Selinsgrove last fall, and after much prayer and hard work, we had our first club meeting this April. When only 8 kids showed up to our first club, I started to panic, but as the night went on, I started to notice something-the kids were having a blast! They all clapped and sang along to "Sweet Home Alabama" and laughed as we made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with our feet and force-fed some poor football players. The next week our numbers had almost tripled. Young Life Logo Each club got better and better. We even had to make the kids go home by the end of the night because nobody wanted to leave! We had a few kids sign on for camp this summer, which was an amazing experience as well. We are all extremely excited for club to start up again this fall and know there are no limits to what God can do for us there.
