Feb 19, 2006 -- Special Chapel Service with Black Student Union

The Black Student Union will be having their bi-annual Church Service. This event will be taking place Sunday, February 19th at 11am in Weber Chapel. Our theme for this church service is "Are you a Good Samaritan?" Come and Join BSU give praises unto the Lord.

Feb 24-26, 2006 -- Chapel Council Retreat: "Talking to God"

It's time for this year's Spring Chapel Council Retreat! This year theme is "Talking to God" and focuses on how to establish a better relationship with God through prayer. Any SU student is welcome to come for worship, fellowship, and some downright violent games of Spoons.

The retreat will be held on February 24-26 at Mountaindale Farms in McClure, PA. Transportation and food will be provided, and the whole weekend only costs $10.

Mar 1, 2006 -- Ash Wednesday Service

The Chaplain's office in conjunction with Saint Pius X will hold an Ash Wednesday Service on March 1st, 2006. The imposition of ashes will take place in Weber Chapel at 4:30 pm. The University Chorale will be providing special music for this service marking the beginning of Lent.

Apr 8, 2006 -- Lutheran Youth Day: "Let Us Talents and Tongues Employ"

Susquehanna will be hosting area Lutheran youth on April 8, 2006 for Lutheran Youth Day. The day will include a concert by the well-known Christian band Lost and Found in Stretansky Hall.

Kate Benson, Deacon of Service, is looking for volunteers to serve as small group leaders on this day. If you are interested, please e-mail Kate.
