Chancel Drama
Chancel Drama completed another successful year with its show “The Apple Tree.”
Directed by Emily Orner, it told three different stories in each of its three acts,
with the common theme of humanity looking for outside things in the world to give them happiness.
It included works by Mark Twain, Frank R. Stockton, and Jules Feiffer.
Students meet yearly to create the Chancel Drama show, coming back a week early from winter
break to begin daily rehearsals. Look in upcoming fall issues of the Religious Life Newsletter
to find more information about auditioning for stage or backstage roles. All are encouraged to
try out, the auditions are not limited to theatre and music majors.
