Lutheran Student Movement

Busy Year for LSM

LSM promotes the active participation of students in the life and mission of the Lutheran Church. Our group also seeks to more clearly understand the roles of our faith in this changing world, to bring peace and the love of Christ to all. LSM meets every Monday night at 10 p.m. in Horn Meditation Chapel. Meetings alternate between worship and other activities. Last semester, the group completed a service learning project with the AIDS Resource Alliance in Williamsport. We also held a retreat at Camp Mount Luther and enjoyed numerous activities and fun nights, including a late night campus-wide game of capture the flag.

This semester, LSM held another retreat at Camp Kirchenwald and participated in Lutheran Youth Day, an event for middle to high school-aged youth held at Susquehanna University. If you have any questions about LSM, please contact Amy Troxell, LSM President.
