These are exciting times in the sciences at Susquehanna University. We have a cadre of young professors who are doing some truly novel and interesting projects, all of which directly involve Susquehanna students.  The department is very well equipped with modern scientific instrumentation that our students use in their courses and research. Many of our Chemistry and Biochemistry majors present the results of their research at national professional scientific conferences. You would have the opportunity for similar research experiences should you decide to pursue Chemistry or Biochemistry at Susquehanna University. We strive for an informal air of collegiality in which students are not afraid to ask questions or make the mistakes that are an inevitable part of learning.  We would challenge you, but do everything in our power to help you meet our high expectations.
