Professor Larry D. Augustine, department head, holds an M.A. from West Virginia University and is producer-director for the annual musical theatre production. He is executive director of the Pennsylvania High School Speech League, which is headquartered at Susquehanna. He teaches broadcasting, mass communications and media law. He also is the coordinator of the internship program. Larry D. Augustine  
Professor Beverly Romberger holds a Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University. Her research focuses on oral history and includes topics such as women's lives, workforce diversity, and men's and women's beliefs about relationships. She teaches public speaking, interpersonal communications and group and organizational communication. She is also the coordinator of the practica programs. Dr. Beverly Romberger  
Professor James Sodt is the Charles B. Degenstein Professor in Communications. He holds a Ph.D. from Syracuse University and spent a decade in strategy, marketing and corporate communications with AT&T. He teaches public relations, corporate communications and research methods. He also is the advisor to Sterling Communications, the student-run firm of the university's Public Relations Student Society of America Chapter. Dr. Jim Sodt  
Associate Professor Randy Hines has earned universal accreditation in the public relations (APR) profession. He holds a Ph.D. from Texas A&M. He teaches a variety of public relations and communications courses. He serves as adviser to the university's Public Relations Student Society of America Chapter. His research interests are in advertising and public relations.  
Associate Professor Catherine Hastings holds a Ph.D. from Pennsylvania State University. She has experience editing a daily newspaper, and her research interests include rhetorical criticism and journalism history. She teaches a variety of journalism and public speaking courses and is advisor to the student newspaper, The Crusader. Dr. Catherine Hastings  
Associate Professor David Kaszuba holds an M.A. from Temple University and a Ph.D. from the Pennsylvania State University. He teaches a variety of public relations, journalism and communications courses. He is advisor to Omicron Delta Chapter of Lambda Pi Eta, a national Communications Honor Society, to the Circle K, the student service organization, and the yearbook staff, The Lanthorn.  
Assistant Professor Craig Stark holds an M.A. from Stephen F. Austin State University and is a doctoral student at the Pennsylvania State University. He teaches introductory and advanced courses in TV and audio production, video editing, broadcast news, broadcast advertising, media analysis, and communication research and evaluation. He also shares in the management of a 12,000-watt campus radio station (WQSU).
 

   
Sandra Saxman is Academic Assistant to the Department of Communications and the Department of Theatre. Sandy is also Secretary to the PA High School Speech League.  
Patricia Wendt is Secretary to WQSU.
