Self Help and Self-Assessments

Everyone knows that exercise, nutrition, and good sleep hygiene promote good physical health. There are also a number of things you can do to promote good mental health.

Develop Resilience

Learn to Relax

Know the warning signs that mark the difference between feeling blue and being depressed, getting worried and having an anxiety disorder. ULifeline offers students a mental health screening tool, information about mental health issues geared towards you, and resources for learning more and getting help.

Self-Assessments

Take a brief self-assessment specifically focused on depression, alcohol use, or eating disorders. Just as you would get help if you had a physical injury, it is a good self-care practice to get counseling when needed.
