News in Brief Theta Chi to host BBQ Theta Chi fraternity will be sponsoring a barbeque luncheon at Graysonview Assisted Living and Memory Care Community on Saturday, Sept. 6, from noon to 2 p.m.The fraternity will be providing hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, corn, water and sodas. There will be a charge of $5 per person to cover the cost of food. Graysonview is located at 29 Grayson View Court, Selinsgrove, Pa, 17870. Trax to host 80s night Trax will be hosting an 80s night party tonight beginning at 10 p.m. Wristbands will be available for students 21 and over.Volleyball raffle The Susquehanna Women's Volleyball team will be holding a raffle in which students will have the chance to win a Nintendo Wii game system.Students can purchase one ticket for $2 or three tickets for $5 until the date of the team's first home game of the season on Thursday, Sept. 11 at 7 p.m. Charlie's Events Tonight at 8:30 and 10 p.m., Ironman will be showing at Charlie's Coffeehouse.Also this weekend, Charlie's will be hosting a "Design Your Own Drink Contest." |
