News in Brief Recyclemania Recyclemania, a waste-minimizing and general waste reduction competition, sponsored by Susquehanna's Facilities Management, is halfway through its first week. According to Susquehanna's Web site, "it involves a weekly measurement of recyclables in pounds," with the goal of raising campus awareness about recycling. The competition will end on March 28.Driver Needed for the Crusader Susquehanna's student newspaper, the Crusader, needs a driver for the spring semester. The position requires approximately three hours most Friday mornings. The driver must provide his or her own transportation and be able to lift 25 pounds. The position pays minimum wage in addition to a mileage rate. Ideal applicants should not have classes before noon on Fridays. Anyone interested should contact the Crusader's Editor in Chief, Lyndsey Cox, via e-mail.Traxportation Traxportation, a nighttime shuttle service, is now available for students looking for convenient and free weekend transportation. Traxportation leaves TRAX at 9 p.m. and stops at various points on and off campus until the end of the TRAX event. This Saturday, Jan. 24, Trax will be hosting Josh Blue, a former winner of Last Comic Standing at 9 p.m. |
