Six members of the faculty are elected to staggered three-year terms as follows: two from the School of Arts, Humanities and Communication; two from the School of Natural and Social Sciences; and two from the Sigmund Weis School of Business. Elected members may elect up to five additional members from the faculty at large, librarians with faculty rank, administration, or the student body.

Initial terms were chosen by lot to be one, two or three year terms. No School Representative is to have the same length of service. The Provost & Dean of the Faculty assists the Coordinator and the Committee on Teaching and Learning to fulfill the mission of the program by providing adequate resources for it.
