RESOURCES - Texts and Reading Materials in the Center

Texts in the Center for Teaching and Learning:

The Center has a small collection of texts and other materials on teaching and learning that are available for faculty and staff use on-site, or for short-term loans. To view the titles of the small collection click here. If you have requests for new resources, please contact the coordinator.

POD Network Reading Packets:

The POD Network has written a series of short papers that cover a variety of teaching issues, from teaching about diversity to assessing critical thinking. The packet topics are listed on the linked POD web page, and all of the packets are all available in the Center.

Library Periodicals/Journals:

The URL below links to the periodical and journal database of resources available either online or in the Blough-Weis Library.  The database can be searched by title, keyword, e.g., teach, learn, assess, education, etc., or by the first word(s) of the title, using the 'begins with' search.  Please be aware that the database only searches words that occur in the periodical title.  Any word entered is automatically truncated, so a root keyword such as 'teach' will retrieve all forms of the word (teach, teaching, teaches, teachers).
