How Susquehanna prepared me for the future

I will be pursuing my master’s degree in global women’s studies at New York University. NYU has always been my dream graduate school and one of my good friends recently graduated from there with a master's degree in philosophy.

I believe that studying abroad, staying involved in activities and maintaining my grades are the key reasons why I was considered a good candidate for NYU.

Susquehanna University offers a liberal arts education that creates well-rounded students, and I took full advantage of many opportunities during my undergraduate education. I am truly honored to have been admitted to my dream graduate school, and I would not have dreamed of attending if it were not for the support and guidance of the faculty, staff, my parents and my friends.

What I’ll miss most about Susquehanna

All of the people that I love here! Whether or not they are graduating, I will miss being with them whenever I please. I will also miss the community and the actual importance of community at our school. It's a beautiful place to be, to learn, and to grow.

What being a Susquehanna alumna means to me

I'm sure I will understand what being a Susquehanna alumna means to me once I make my way into the world outside of SU. I do know that I want to maintain a good relationship with the university since it has left such an impact on me.

I am so thankful that I chose Susquehanna as the institution for my undergraduate studies. I would not be who I am today without those who supported and guided me throughout this four-year process. And I want to thank those people as well. It has been an incredible experience and has made me hopeful for future generations of Crusaders!
