Katarina R. I. Keller, Assistant Professor of Economics

Ph.D., University of Notre Dame
Dr. Keller’s teaching and research interests focus on economic growth, economics of education, macroeconomics, development economics, international economics, income distribution, technological change, economic policy and macroeconometrics.  She teaches courses in macro- & microeconomics as well as International Political Economy.

Olugbenga A. Onafowora, Professor of Economics
Ph.D., West Virginia University
Dr. Onafowora's research focuses on state-level production behavior and policy in U.S. agriculture, and stabilization in developing economies.  He teaches micro-and macroeconomics, and courses in labor, public finance, and economics of developing nations.

Antonin Rusek, Associate Professor of Economics
Ph.D., SUNY, Stony Brook
Dr. Rusek's research focuses on international economics, inflation and stabilization and problems of emerging market economics.  He is an expert in the analysis of the Turkish economy and often comments on East European economics, especially the Czech Republic and economics of CEFTA countries.  He teaches micro-and macroeconomics, economic policy, comparative economics systems, emerging markets, and international trade and finance.

Ali H. M. Zadeh, Professor of Economics, and Chair of the Department of Economics
Ph.D., Michigan State University
Dr. Zadeh conducts research on exchange rate uncertainty and analysis of OPEC behavior and the demand for money.  He teaches micro-and macroeconomics, money and banking, operations management and econometrics.  Dr. Zadeh directed the fall 2003 Semester-In-London Program.


Matthew Rousu, Assistant Professor of Economics

Ph.D., Iowa State University
Dr. Rousu’s teaching and research focus on several different branches

of microeconomics.  He consults as an expert in experimental auction

design for various government and non-profit agencies, including the

U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and frequently publishes his

research on experimental, agricultural, and environmental economics.
