Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Intern Program Susquehanna University has been selected by the Pennsylvania Department of Education - Intern Program to provide the Teacher Intern Program at its central Pennsylvania campus. This program invites holders of baccalaureate degrees to gain teaching certificates by completing professional education courses at an approved Pennsylvania college or university. Once accepted into the program, candidates may earn a salary and education credits while teaching under supervision. The Teacher Intern Program has defined criteria for admission that assess the candidates potential for teaching through the examination of skill dimensions, academic preparation including an acceptable grade point average, qualifying work experience and an assessment of the candidates ability to function in a teaching situation.
Candidates must exit the Intern Program with at least the same GPA required for entrance. For more information, please read the Intern Program Description. |
