Research
My research focuses on two areas: tropical meteorology and Pennsylvania
climatology. My tropical meteorology research seeks to explore the relationships
between clouds, rainfall, and winds on timescales from days (tropical
cyclones) to years (El Nino). My PA climatology research seeks to understand
links between weather and climate in PA and the larger-scale atmospheric
circulation.
