ACADEMIC HONESTY

Each essay, research paper, oral report, project, etc. that a student produces must be the work of that particular student for that particular course. If a student finds that similar assignments are given in two courses, the student must not assume that s/he can produce one paper (or project) to satisfy both assignments. Although doing so is not a form of plagiarism, it is a form of unethical behavior. To ensure academic honesty, the student must get written permission from both instructors in order to have one assignment count for two courses. This policy remains true for courses that run concurrently as well as for courses taken in different semesters
