To help you keep track of your own progress through the major, and to help you prepare for pre-registration meetings with your advisor, you may wish to consult the following summary of requirements.

Remember: l44 credit hours are required to complete the major

l12 credit hours must be in breadth courses [210, 220, 230, 240, 250, 260, 270, 280]

· l16 credit hours must be in depth courses [300, 310, 320, 330, 340, 350, 360, 370, 380, 390, 400, 500, 580]

(8 credit hours of literature courses are prerequisite for 300-level courses)

A History course at the 200-level or above. A Philosophy and Religion course at the 200-level or above. A literature course taught by Classical or Modern Languages. An Art History course at the 200-level or above.
