5 th Annual Conference - February 16, 2009
At our annual conference, undergraduates from Susquehanna and other universities around the country share their scholarly and creative work. Panels of three or four students are organized around various literary themes and cultural issues. After reading their work aloud, student panelists and the audience of aspiring writers, teachers, and scholars join in a discussion. Panels are generally seventy-five minutes and run through out the day, interspersed with a longer lecture or reading by a nationally acclaimed literary scholar or writer. Individuals who plan to attend or to present a paper can look forward to participating in a spirited discussion of the intellectual and creative challenges shaping literary study today. We welcome anyone interested in attending to click on the link to see the schedule for the upcoming conference. Undergraduates who would like to present a paper should read the current Call for Papers, follow the guidelines for submitting a proposal, and submit their proposal by the deadline.
