Dr. Randy Hines, APR
Randy Hines is a tenured professor in the Department of Communications at Susquehanna University. He also holds the title of a Fulbright Senior Specialist and taught advertising and PR in Russia during 2008. Hines received the 2006 SU student government association professor of the year award. His doctorate is from Texas A&M University in public relations, a profession in which he has obtained universal accreditation (APR). He has a B.A. and an M.A. in journalism from Kent State University.
He joined the SU faculty in August 2002. Prior to that he taught in the University of North Carolina system, where he served as chair of the Mass Communications Department at UNC-Pembroke. He has also taught at Kent State and East Tennessee State where he advised PRSSA, started an AAF Ad Club and served for years as an officer in the local AAF professional chapter.
