Technology in Education
Description of the Course:
The goal of this two-credit course is to prepare pre-service teachers to utilize technology in their classrooms to promote student learning. This course will emphasize the application of computer software and hardware in the classroom. Participants will develop an electronic portfolio of materials. This portfolio will be in the form of a webpage. The National Educational Technology Standards for technology literate teachers will be met.*
