Human Physiology Exercise test.
Following Chapter 15 in the Biopac Student Lab book, complete the following measurements for each person.
1. Rest before exercise: Blood pressure
ECG
Skin temperature
Breathing rate.
Measure for 30 seconds.
2. Start exercise: ECG
Skin temperature
Breathing rate.
Exercise should be only at a moderately strenuous level unless you are an athelete who is comfortable with strenuous exercise in which case you can exercise more.
Measure for 120 seconds after the start of exercise.
Exercise should continue for about 3 to 5 minutes or until you feel that you are tired.
3. Stop exercise: Blood pressure
ECG
Skin temperature
Breathing rate.
Measure for 3 minutes. Take blood pressure immediately after exercise stops, and again a few minutes later. When you write this up, obtain heart rate from the ECG measurements.
