A Warm Welcome
The transition to a new environment is always an adjustment—for students and families alike. The Division of Student Life coordinates activities throughout the year to prepare students to thrive both academically and personally. It begins with Summer Preview Days for students and families in June and Fall Orientation at the start of the semester in August. First-year students and their families are welcomed to the university with true Susquehanna spirit.
Communications about first-year programs begins with an email and postcard invitation to register for a Summer Preview Day, followed by a letter mailed to your home address containing your student email address, student ID number and instructions for logging into your Susquehanna student account.
Throughout the summer, additional information will be shared via mySU, the university's portal for official communication within our community, and sent electronically to your student email account. Information also will be made available on www.susqu.edu/Fall2015.
Any questions or concerns from incoming students and their families should be directed to James Black, associate dean for student engagement and success and director of the Center for Academic Achievement, at firstname.lastname@example.org or 570-372-4184.
