Research
My research focuses on sedimentary processes and paleoecology. This involves the paleoenvironmental analysis of Paleozoic rocks using fossilized plants and animals, plant and animal traces, and other sedimentary structures to make reconstructions of past sedimentary environments. I am chiefly interested in the Devonian Period due to the dramatic ecological changes that occurred during this period.
